John graduated from Columbia University with a M.S. in Biomedical Engineering in December, 2006. He is interested in the development of software and computational tools for the analysis and interpretation of biological data at both the molecular and system level. John joined Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in early 2007. As a scientific programmer, he is responsible for the informatics aspects of the Brain Architecture Project, which include software development, database management, and other infrastructure supports. Before making the transition to the field of bioinformatics, John worked as a circuit design engineer for several years in the semiconductor industry. |
