Jason Bohland
Scientific Informatics Manager
Jay received his Ph.D. in Cognitive and Neural Systems from Boston University in 2007 where he studied the neural circuits involved in speech production using a combination of neuroimaging (fMRI and MEG) and computational modeling methods. He previously received his M.S. and B.S. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering, respectively, from the University of Cincinnati. His masters thesis explored how the structure of connectivity graphs in artificial neural network models affects their performance and dynamics.

Jay joined the Mitra lab in March 2007 as part of the Brain Architecture Project. He is working on various computational aspects of the project including connectivity graph analysis and visualization tools.
