Hemant Bokil
Post-Doc Fellow

Hemant obtained his Ph.D in physics from UCSC in 1997. Following two and a half years a postdoc in physics, he spent a year as a postdoc in the laboratory of Asaf Keller at the UMAB Medical School, where he worked on a model for ephaptic interactions in the olfactory nerve. He then moved to Caltech as a postdoc in the laboratory of Richard Andersen. While there Hemant collaborated with Partha on developing a technique for decoding movement activity from local field potential measurements. He has recently moved as a postdoc to CSHL.
