Haibin Wang
![]() Post-Doc Fellow
|
Haibin obtained his Ph.D. in theoretical particle physics in 2003 from University of Michigan. Following his graduation, he worked as a postdoc in Purdue University for two years. His research interests included the Standard Model of Particle Physics and the quest for new physics beyond Standard Model. Haibin Joined Mitra Lab in 2006 as a postdoc, where he works on the vocal learning and memory formation, using Zebra Finch as a model system. He performs integrative data analysis on large amount of data, including behavioral data (birdsongs), peripheral measurements, and neural recordings. He also studies the organ and brain mechanisms underlying the vocal learning process of Zebra Finch, based on the insights derived from data analysis. |
