Cara Allen received her PhD in Neurosciences from the University of California, San Diego in 2004, where she studied experience-dependent plasticity in the rat somatosensory cortex with Dan Feldman. She worked as an Associate Editor at Nature Neuroscience before joining the Mitra lab as Project Manager for the Brain Architecture Project in 2006.
